Psychic Investigation & Mediumship in Action: Cherrie Ann Mahan Case
Yesterday we aired episode 1 of season 2 of Hello From the Other Side on YouTube.
In this episode, we turn our psychic focus to one of America’s most enduring missing-child cases: the disappearance of eight-year-old Cherrie Ann Mahan, who vanished on February 22, 1985 after getting off her school bus in rural Pennsylvania.
In accordance with our guidelines, we only received the name “Cherrie Mahan” and a photograph and was told she was missing in the Unites States. Armed with this information, co-host, Michelle Robinson, and I both tuned into the energy and conducted a reading separately.
What happened to Cherrie Mahan?
Cherrie’s disappearance remains one of the most heartbreaking and mysterious cases in the U.S. Despite countless searches and decades of public awareness, she has never been found. Her case reminds us why psychic investigation can offer another layer of insight, not to replace traditional detective work, but to complement it.
When I approach a missing-person case like Cherrie’s, I connect to the energy and try to deliver evidence that only those that knew the person can verify, and that isn’t publicly known. This validates the strength of my psychic or medium connection and establishes the trust need for someone to pursue the information pertaining to the case that follows.
Our Process: Independent Psychic Investigation
Each Hello From the Other Side episode follows a clear and ethical process designed to minimise bias and maximise integrity:
Minimal information: We only receive a name, a photo, and the knowledge that the person is a minor missing in the U.S.
Independent readings: Michelle and I do our psychic investigations separately. We do not share details or collaborate or discuss the case until both sessions are complete.
Evidence-based comparison: It’s not for us to compare readings but for viewers to consider. We sometimes have very aligned and succinct evidence and at other times very different. This is important because it allows viewers and those closest to the person, or case, to validate evidence themselves and understand the evidence and why it’s come through in that way. For example, in Cherrie’s case I saw a gentleman with a mustache and Michelle saw him with a mustache and beard.
Compassionate presentation: Because these stories involve real lives and lasting grief, we always present our findings with empathy, care, and respect for the families involved.
This independent process helps us stay focused on what truly matters: providing hope, healing, and potential insight for families seeking closure.
